- Glorious visit to Sardinia
-
Date Posted: Sat, 2 Sep 2023
15 choir members and our MD - Susannah Wapshott have completed a successful trip to the International Choral Festival in Sardinia. We were commended on our challenging harmonies. We had fun, friendship and fellowship, demonstrating the true benefit of choral singing. We were challenged by weather conditions in getting to Sardinia amid storms, air traffic delays and long journeys, but kept smiling. We enjoyed good food and the Sardinia scenery and beaches. We met choirs from Valencia in Spain, Calgary in Canada and local Sardinian choirs, singing in a variety of church buildings and the S Giovanni Cave. We had a police escort to our final dinner in Domusnovas - really for the mayor and local dignitaries. We want to do it all again. Pictures and video will be uploaded once edited. Attachment:
