    Description: Concert: Haydn - Creation
    The Creation (1798) by Haydn is one of the most joyful masterpieces of the choral repertoire and tells of the creation of the world as described in the Book of Genesis. From the creation of light, of heaven and earth, of the sun and moon, of the land and water, and of plants, to the creation of the animals, and of man and woman: all illustrated descriptively by a classical orchestra and Helensburgh Oratorio Choir. Professional singers perform the angels Uriel (Soprano Sian Winstanley), Gabriel (Tenor William Searle) and Raphael (Bass David Stout) with Part 3 describing the beginning of Adam and Eve’s story.
